THIS WILL BE YOUR WORK


As a regulatory affairs specialist, you will be responsible for identifying all relevant changes in feed legislation and regulations that affect our business activities. As a spider in the web, you ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, proactively communicate relevant changes and think along with various disciplines within the company to find solutions. An important part of your tasks is to manage and prepare files from A to Z and coordinate registrations for Denkavit products worldwide, divided into regions. You independently identify improvement opportunities and will implement improvement proposals within the current work processes and activities in the field of export registrations, management of laws and regulations and you actively liaise with local authorities, distributors and customers. And further:

  • Coordinate and execute product and company registration requests
  • Collect necessary information and/or certificates from internal/external stakeholders (suppliers, customers and local authorities).
  • Develop and master knowledge of laws and regulations of the countries/ region belonging within your area of expertise.
  • Identify early regulatory and legislative issues affecting the business and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Advise the company on risks arising from (animal) food safety or regulatory developments.
  • Communicate with commercial & technical teams to use your expertise to adequately support specific needs and/or regulatory requirements/changes.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with assigned customer contacts and local authorities.
  • Contribute to international cooperation and share best practices with (inter) national colleagues.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a true process improver and have extensive experience in regulatory affairs and export registrations. The role of regulatory affairs specialist is very important to Denkavit. It is crucial that you have an affinity with laws and regulations and that your expertise contributes to strengthening and expanding our market position. What else are we looking for in you as an ideal candidate?

  • A completed HBO or WO education, for example in the fields of law, (animal) nutrition and food safety.
  • Several years of experience and knowledge of European food and/or feed legislation, preferably also experience with global export and registration processes and local legislation.
  • Knowledge and experience of NVWA and customs requirements in the Netherlands, preferably also in other countries.
  • Knowledge of various systems, such as Oracle JD Edwards and MS Office.
  • Ability to work systematically, accurately and independently.
  • Knowledge of securing processes in accordance with GMP+ and ISO 9001 is an advantage.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing. Command of other modern languages is an advantage.
